Job Summary: 
This role is responsible for driving the development of MTN’s Mobile payment strategy and successful delivery of digital payment solutions through new products & services to increase MTN Mobile Money ecosystem and increase digital payment services volumes and revenues.
Description: 
  1. Assist in developing Mobile Money business plans and overall business strategy.
  2. Drive the Payments Agenda of the business to promote overall adoption and business growth.
  3. Coordinate the activities of the Field Sales Team in the acquisition and management of merchants.
  4. Screen & use benchmark technics to identify new FinTech payment services.
  5. Ensure the implementation of the most optimal technology for the different channels.
  6. Assist in taping into the payment opportunities through partners and relevant channels to position MTN as a key player.
  7. Develop a pricing strategy of payment services in accordance to the overall company revenue plan, competition, and market acceptance.
  8. Manage Vendors/Partners to complete projects on time and within budget & Provide technical support to 3PPs during integrations if any.
  9. Ensure Technical process documents are in place. (I.e. Process flow documents, vendor on-boarding, SLA,…etc).
  10. Responsible for the engagement, development and management of key merchants.
  11. Share inputs on relevant FinTech Business processes
  12. Coordinate with stakeholders to implement FinTech services strategy and roadmap
  13. Work closely with cross functional team for the design and implementation of any new service.
  14. Support the Enterprise Business unit to approach partners to offer 360 payment solution
  15. Identify and implement different trade elements for different channels.
  16. Ensure consistent communication around FinTech services to relevant operation team
  17. Ensure consistent user experience and relevance of FinTech services are in line with the market need
  18. Be responsible for maintaining the information security of  MTN physical or information assets that they access, use, or manage as per the company policies
  19. Assist in designing promotional activities to stimulate payment adoption.
  20. Track and update daily, weekly, bi weekly and monthly reports and provide insights to direct manager.

Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by immediate supervisor

Job Requirements:
