Position summary:


To ensure the operationalization of Business Units practices across all business units to drive optimum financial performance and value creation.







Main Duties & Responsibilities:


Budgets & Rolling Forecasts
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to planned budgets and rolling forecasts, provision of historic data analytics, forecast assumptions and calculations, budget control systems and overall support on expenditure to enable enhanced financial judgment management.

Inventories & Supply Chain
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to stocking and dispatching of products and machinery, to inventory ageing analysis, to compliance against the OPEX Purchasing Policy to ensure compliance and manage minimal stock losses.

Purchases & Overheads
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to all purchases and overhead, workloans analysis, OPEX analysis and payables ageing analysis to ensure best value for money spent.

Sales Management Advisory Support
Oversee business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to tender assessments, customer agreements, credit management, collection management, sales orders, items/services delivery and customer ageing analysis to enable standardized practices that result in quality financial management and maximized benefits.

Project Management
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective identification and best evaluation methodologies of new projects, CAPEX and initiatives that would benefit the business and contribute toward enhanced income streams and/or improved financial effectiveness and efficiencies
"General Ledger Management
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to General Ledger activities for monthly closing period procedure, balance sheet audits and year end procedures to enable effective GL reporting.

Cash Management
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to Cash Management around historical cash flow analysis(direct/indirect) and cash flow analysis to ensure that cash management practices are effectively management against insights gained from history and data analytics.

Relationship Management
Ensure that all business partners have sound relationships of trust and respect with business units to maximum working relations and collaboration between financial support services and Bus for increased impact and financial rewards.

Reporting & Data Analytics
Ensure business partners within business units in the effective delivery of support and advisory services related to monthly reporting by revenue/Cost stream, working capital analytics reports, KPI mentoring, replacement cost impact on margins, outlets performance and variable analysis and investigation reporting to enable proactive planning and identification of areas of improvement or mitigation.

Continuous Improvement
Promote the drive for continuous improvement within area of responsibility, taking a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.


Minimum Qualification & Experience:


Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting and /or Business Administration
Certified Accountant (ACCA/CPA)

Experience:
Minimum 4+ years experience in Finance within a corporate environment
Minimum 3+ years experience in Business Partnering/Management Accounting within a complex environment

Minimum 3+ years work experience in local market
