Job description : Social Media Specialist/Expert



As a Social Media Specialist you are responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales.


Responsibilities

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action, active & correct response to the customers inquiries and feedback.  

• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.

• connect the social media platforms with the website (Manage the website contents).

• Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.

• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.

• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, reports and then acting on the information.

• Using analytical tools to capture and evaluate relevant social insights, metrics, best practices, and then using the data to monitor and assess the company’s online performance, presence and provide positive future outcomes.

• Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

• Weekly and monthly summarized reports internally and externally (To the client).

• Other relevant tasks if required.


Requirements

• Bilingual – Fluent in English and Arabic 

• Fluency in social media: hands-on skills and knowledge of multiple social media platforms and awareness of current trends

• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills with a strong sense of who the segment audience is and how to meet their needs.

• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
