We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Emirati National to join our Corporate Finance team at Aldar. We're looking for a Vice President Business Planning & Investment Analysis. As a member of the Corporate Finance team you will play an integral role in providing financial analysis support that enables the leadership to make business decisions that drive overall business results and create the most shareholder value. This includes but not limited to the review, execution and management of financial modeling and analysis of the business plans, investment proposals and financial reporting of assets.

 

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

BUSINESS PLAN

  • Manage the Corporate Business Plan, ancillary analysis and drafting of management reporting materials
  • Run the (bi-)annual update process and lead day-to-day coordination / interaction with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the development of quarterly and monthly financial reports and presentations in coordination with the Financial Reporting department and raise final report to Senior Manager
  • Identify relevant AM/DM performance parameters and develop AM/DM performance dashboards, including rollout and integration into day-to-day workflow of AM/DM
  • Ownership of relationships with key internal stakeholders at appropriate level to enhance visibility and role of Corporate Finance in day-to-day AM, DM, Strategy processes
  • Execute analysis and financial modeling of potential corporate activities.

 

INVESTMENT ANALYSIS AND ICP INPUT

  • Manage and coordinate review of investment proposals and ICP business plans for the Executive Management and the Board.
  • Conduct financial due diligence inline with the IA framework and review briefing material and presentations.
  • Proactively engage with DM and AM stakeholders for input, clarification and timely feedback.
  • Management of ICP Tracker tool and timely dissemination status updates to Finance leadership

 

INVESTOR RELATIONS AND CREDIT RATING AGENCY COORDINATION

  • Review, update and distribute information packs and presentations to internal stakeholders for presentation to credit ratings agencies, equity and credit analysts, investors, for earnings calls, industry events and (deal & non-deal) roadshows


INVESTMENT PROPERTIES AND LAND VALUATION

  • Manage annual valuation of Investment Properties and land assets for financial reporting purposes

 

 
Qualifications
 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity or blue-chip corporate with strong exposure to corporate finance, financial modelling and investment analysis.
  • Strong real estate knowledge, including direct, indirect and debt transactions
  • University degree in relevant field (business, accounting, property, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work independently and manage projects
  • Service-focused, with a desire to be a strong partner to investment teams and other stakeholders
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Inquisitive self-starter, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive co-ordination and project manage amongst multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing teams either in a formal capacity and / or through leading major projects
  • Possess an analytical mind, and strong negotiating ability to create win-win situations
