JOB DESCRIPTION

In this specialized sales role, you will enjoy the opportunity to position and sell ACI products and services in the MEA Region targeted at Financial Institutions, Central Infrastructures and Financial Intermediaries. You will also manage ACI's overall relationships focusing on our Retail Payments Solutions.

 

In this role, you will also identify, enable and nurture ACI Partners (working in close association with ACI Partner organization) in their efforts to sell ACI products and services.

 

You will be proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM applications to maintain account, opportunity and territory records. You will also be proficient in Sales Forecasting.

 

Extensive travel required - 40%-60%

 

Role:
 

•       You will identify opportunities in the Real-Time Payments space to sell ACI products and services to current and prospective customers on a named-account model across Middle East and Africa. You will develop sales strategies and manage the process of bringing the identified opportunities to a logical close, consistent with ACI’s sales best practices.

 

•       You will manage ACI’s overall relationship with prospects, clients and internal customers by practising ACI core values of Integrity, Accountability, Diversity and Customer Centricity.

 

•       You will manage with proficiency all administrative aspects of the role including sales forecasting, account profiling and management, opportunity management, sales pipeline management, consistent with ACI’s sales best practices.

 

•       You will keep current on ACI products/enhancements, competition activities and industry trends.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

•       Combined minimum experience of 5 years in the payments, e-commerce or mobile payments industries.

•       Proficiency in Direct and Indirect Sales.

•       Must have successful sales record.

•       Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

•       Demonstrable experience in prospecting and executing large, complex deals.

•       Understanding of commercial and technical sides of the business.

•       Ability to craft solutions and practise a partnership-based approach towards addressing client needs.

•       Understanding and knowledge of products/solutions currently offered by ACI is a plus.

•       Payments or payments processing related sales experience required.

•       User level proficiency in Salesforce.com desirable.

 

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

•       Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Management, International Business or equivalent desired.

•       Fluency in English. In addition, Arabic and French desired.
