• Develop and adopt company-wide fleet maintenance guidelines and programs based on industry based best practices.

• Review of incoming repair work orders and invoices from dealerships and local repair shops in the field to identify and mitigate premature and unnecessary repairs.

• Coordinate with other departments on fleet maintenance topics and oversee all major fleet repair issues.

• Maintain a constant improvement mindset and aggressively identify cost saving opportunities across the fleet maintenance/repair spectrum.

• Identify, document and coordinate any repairs that are covered under warranty.

• Review and approve all major repair estimates from local repair shops to ensure we are receiving the best value for our fleet spending. • Identify root causes of vehicle mechanical failures and make recommendations for changes in fleet maintenance policies to minimize similar recurring failures.

• Review maintenance and repair histories of all vehicles being considered for replacement and evaluate cost/benefit of disposal versus retention.

• Manage a large volume of fleet maintenance and repair related support tasks, driving all issues to a timely resolution. • Cultivate and manage relationships with a network of vendor partners to provide best in class maintenance, repair and parts support for our fleet vehicles. • Under take any fleet related duties / issues as may be assigned by the Technical Manager or Plant Director.

• To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of reports, and KPI’s.

• Supervise and coach the team members and set their yearly target and conduct the performance review on regular basis.

• To contribute to the effective management, motivation and development of Personnel team resources by liaising closely with key line management personnel and other relevant parties within the MOROUJ Company, to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved or appropriately.

• Responsible for the security, Confidentiality & Integrity, of all information assets within his/her responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Information Security Policies

• Quality of execution of maintenance policies and processes, including timely delivery within budget

• Quality and effectiveness of fleet management.

• Satisfaction of internal customers

• Accuracy of reporting

• Quality of Team Contribution


• Specialist role – minimum 3 years relevant professional experience

• Coordination of activities to support the implementation of the fleet management Plan

• Responsible for effective execution of fleet t and maintenance Plan

• Coordinate maintenance strategies, policies and processes

• Bachelor Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline

• Relevant Professional Engineering qualification is mandatory

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in relevant role in a private sector organisation is mandatory

• Projects management experience.

• Industrial Engineering is required

• Experience in developing business processes, SLA’s, KPI’s and business rules.

• Knowledge of maintenance policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of change management and cultural change processes

• Understanding of the Sudan market and MOROUJ business strategy, goals and competitive environment

• Relevant IT understanding
