Duties
Duties
• Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations
• Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
• Compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it.
• Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
• Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
• Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
• Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
• Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices.
Requirements
• BA in Business Administration (related fields) or BS in Statics
• 2-3 years of proven market research experience
• Ability to interpret large amount of data
• Strong analytical & critical thinking
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, field surveys etc)
• Food & beverage market awareness
• Ability to plan, monitor & control research budget
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation skills
• Good management skills
• High level of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, SPSS or similar software etc)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to travel to regions within Sudan
• Fluent in Arabic & English
