Job Summary:
• Act as an administrative liaison to the company centralized human resources. Provide specific advice and assistance as requested to internal clients regarding issues such as absenteeism, employment contracts, labor relations and administration.


  1. Responsible for the health and safety, wellness, cleaning & office needs of the MTN workplaces & staff.
  2. Develop and manage HR operations and employee service delivery.
  3. Ensure standard environment measurements of the MTN workplaces.
  4. Ensure qualified vendors and contractors are appointed.
  5. Monitor and control operational interaction with third party service providers
  6. Ensure employee information is updated into the HR system and physical documents are appropriately kept up-to-date and filed
  7. Execute day to day employee administration services for employees (creating new email, updating the Address book., issuing business card, new staff lines, internet usage and employee formal letters)
  8. Provide administrative support to the HRBPs and the recruitment and on boarding team
  9. Develop and manage the Employee Relations policies and procedures
  10. Liaise with employees, trade unions, legal team, business and Group HR
  11. Ensure terminations, re-deployments and changes to workforce are administered in a fair and effective manner, in compliance with the local regulations and legal requirements
  12. Manage appeals raised by employees on disagreements with the decisions issued as an outcome of disciplinary actions, grievances, performance related concerns etc.
  13. Liaise with legal and compensation and Benefits team to finalize retrenchments/termination procedures where applicable
  14. Manage documentation and closure of all cases, proceedings and actions in adherence to company and regulatory policies
  15. Focus on consistent service delivery and employee experience through the usage of a common set of tools.
  16. Develop, update and manage confidential departmental personnel and associated files, documents and / or databases.
  17. Manage all type of leaves processes; this includes data accuracy verification, planning, and reporting.
  18. Provide HR Solutions in regard of people management to Line Management.
  19. Manage Plan employee events (farewell, birthdays…….)
  20. Issue and manage the departmental reports required.
  21. Perform Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management.
  22. Be responsible for maintaining the information security of MTN physical or information assets that they access, use, or manage as per the company policies.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field. 3-5 Years of managerial experience in the HR field
