Job Description

Position Name (Title): Manager, Business Assurance

Position Reporting Lines: Senior Manager Business Assurance & Fraud Management

Main Job Purpose:
the incumbent is responsible for assisting the Business assurance & fraud management senior manager in all strategic, as
well as operational affairs that includes formulation and implementation of revenue assurance & fraud management
strategy, establishing gaps and losses . Adjust or propose new controls in line with changes in the business environment,
and make all leakages and risks visible to senior management.

Duties & responsibilities:
• Experience of Business Assurance methodologies, tools, and programs.
• Lead role in producing efficient and cost-effective tactical recovery activities to ensure maximizing Sudatel
• Leader of transformational change across usage controls & processes, delivering increases to Usage Operational
control coverage.
• To ensure all usage generation and processing is timely, complete, and accurate in addition to promoting
stakeholder & customer confidence through robust control improvements.
• Responsible for ensuring minimization of revenue loss and production of revenue reporting to demonstrate the
control effectivity, performance & usage revenue impact.
• Track control KPIs on a daily basis, reporting risks and actions to relevant support and governance teams.
• Support the formulation of Sudatel Business Assurance strategy, with a strategic perspective on risk affecting
Sudatel revenues.
• Responsible for proactive identification, prevention, and management of fraud risk across Sudatel.
• Manage and support Business Assurance (BA) technology vendors, including service and product lifecycle, user
requirements management, and development pipelines.
• Responsible for measuring and reporting the financial leakage of Sudatel to local management and Sudatel Group
• Support the business assurance transformation of the fraud team, creating specialist sections including
detection and investigations to improve efficiency.
• Ensure strict compliance to group reporting standards and motivate the BA in delivering reports per timelines.
• Keep abreast on fraud risks, technology trends, assurance standards, and governance risk impacting Sudatel
• Support technology-related leakage risk insight and dissemination that allows Sudatel to effectively manage its
technology infrastructure and supplier relationships in recovery and prevention of loss.
• Improving awareness and influencing of Sudatel in relation to revenue leakages & fraud risks.
• Responsible for improvement of Sudatel Technology infrastructure towards leakage risk mitigation.
• Responsible to ensure that the strategy, design, implementation, and management of assurance systems is
• Support the design, implementation, and management of RAFM technology frameworks for OPCO retained
organizations to use in the effective, implementation, maintenance, and support of business systems.
• Responsible for technology-related training and development needs of the RAFM function, with close
interworking with Learning and Development and local OD teams in order to ensure learning paths are defined
and managed.
• Support the decision-making process in relation to partner and vendor selection, deployment, and management
to ensure the safeguarding of service revenues and profits.
• Support the Sudatel Group RAFM business planning, budgeting, and monthly forecast process. This includes the
setting and managing of resourcing, investment, and target setting.
• Support both internal and external audit processes and be the catalyst between BA and IT for data/information
sourcing and collection.
• Maintain a structured risk assessment of the business and develop a priority approach to risk control.
• Actively participate and provide guidance from a revenue assurance & fraud management perspective during the
development and/or implementation of new products, service platforms, and network applications and
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends relative to revenue risk and loss avoidance.
• Be Responsible for continuous improvement and special projects to identify new revenue opportunities.
• Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee
performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
• Coach and train the Business Assurance team to ensure understanding of the objectives and goals of the
department, awareness of set targets/requirements, and regularly review their training needs.
• Conduct quantified BA measurements and controls over the company’s revenue streams to maintain and improve
levels of revenue leakage issues and management procedures.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all works outcome, methodology, and evidence presentation.
• Forming comprehensive judgments about the information based on findings and evidence.
• Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all sensitive information related to investigation and analysis.
• Coach subordinates on day-to-day operational activities.
• Assist the RAFM head in the formulation and implementation of revenue assurance strategy.
• Assure accuracy of reports sent to third parties and other functions in the organization.
• Provide dashboard, financial and operational reports to Business Assurance & Fraud Management Senior
• Assess the training and development needs of the department.
• Quantify and recover losses incurred, as a result of vendor errors and assure that penalties are received and
booked in the financial books.
• Analyze systems and tools requirements and assure implementation of systems are in line with business
• Return on investment (ROI) on RA&FM systems through proper implementation of controls.

• Flexible, resilient under pressure, and decisive with a proven track record of delivering results to a high standard
within tight deadlines.
• Excellent understanding of telecoms business environment.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or other related fields
• Telecoms Revenue/ Business Assurance 5-7 years’ experience.
Languages: Excellent English and Arabic
