Deputy General Manager - Trucking and Logistics
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Designs develop & manage Departmental strategy & Set operations policies and standards aligned with the business needs, including determination of safety procedures for the handling of goods.
- Conducts annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness to ensure standardized working conditions in line with the company's mandate.
- Coordinates with Governmental Departments such as the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Investment, SSMO, Customs, Police and regulatory bodies...etc.
- Negotiates service agreements and authorizes contracts with clients, and monitors contract fulfillment.
- Produces periodic Operation Analytical Data reports weekly/monthly and upon request.
- Opens new markets & acquires new business and negotiates rates with Customers, Clearing Agents, and Brokers.
- Analyzes maintenance costs and provides recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement with a proper displaying of a sound knowledge of new truck types and related equipment, in order to increase efficiency and service quality. liaises with other carriers and/or brokers to gather current market trends/costing information.
- Maintains relationships with suppliers of spare parts, equipment, and services, customers, and regulatory bodies
- Manages the assigned budget effectively to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets &operational running costs are controlled.
- Manage, develop, and motivate fleet & operation team to achieve current and long-term company goals.
- Represent the company at senior levels within the customer base to ensure the image of the company is well maintained and enhanced, as an aid to achieving the company's targets.
- Responsible for upholding a safe work environment.
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- BSc in Business Administration or relevant field
- 10-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position
- Experience in Transport & operation field (is a must)

المسؤليات الرئيسية
- تقوم التصميمات بتطوير وإدارة إستراتيجية الإدارات وتعيين سياسات ومعايير العمليات المتوافقة مع احتياجات العمل ، بما في ذلك تحديد إجراءات السلامة للتعامل مع البضائع.
- إجراء إعادة تقييم سنوية للسياسات من أجل فعالية التكلفة لضمان ظروف عمل موحدة بما يتماشى مع ولاية الشركة.
- التنسيق مع الدوائر الحكومية مثل وزارة النقل ووزارة الاستثمار و SSMO والجمارك والشرطة والهيئات التنظيمية ... إلخ.
- يفاوض اتفاقيات الخدمة ويفوض العقود مع العملاء ، ويراقب تنفيذ العقد.
- ينتج تقارير بيانات تحليلية دورية أسبوعية / شهرية وعند الطلب.
- يفتح أسواقًا جديدة ويكتسب أعمالًا جديدة ويتفاوض على الأسعار مع العملاء ووكلاء المقاصة والوسطاء.
- يحلل تكاليف الصيانة ويقدم توصيات بشأن استخدام الأسطول واستبداله من خلال العرض المناسب للمعرفة السليمة لأنواع الشاحنات الجديدة والمعدات ذات الصلة ، من أجل زيادة الكفاءة وجودة الخدمة. تنسق مع شركات النقل الأخرى و / أو الوسطاء لجمع اتجاهات السوق الحالية / معلومات التكلفة.
- يحافظ على العلاقات مع موردي قطع الغيار والمعدات والخدمات والعملاء والهيئات التنظيمية
- يدير الميزانية المخصصة بشكل فعال لضمان توافق النفقات مع الميزانيات المعتمدة ويتم التحكم في تكاليف التشغيل التشغيلية.
- إدارة وتطوير وتحفيز فريق التشغيل والأسطول لتحقيق أهداف الشركة الحالية وطويلة الأجل.
- تمثيل الشركة على المستويات العليا داخل قاعدة العملاء لضمان الحفاظ على صورة الشركة بشكل جيد وتعزيزها ، كمساعدة في تحقيق أهداف الشركة.
- مسؤول عن الحفاظ على بيئة عمل آمنة.
- نفذ أي مهام أخرى ذات صلة كما هو مطلوب.
المعرفة والخبرة:
- بكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة
- 10-15 سنة خبرة ، مع 5 سنوات على الأقل في منصب إداري
- خبرة في مجال النقل والتشغيل (أمر لا بد منه)
