Job Title: Interconnection & Fixed NW Professional

Reporting to: Core CS & Interconnections Network Manager
Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to Oversee the configuration and implementation of new requests.
Ensure the reliability and security of communication systems to maintain peak performance. This role
includes maintaining existing cloud core network equipment, offering on-site technical assistance, and
implementing new cloud equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily troubleshooting and prepare regular service reports (weekly/biweekly/monthly), det
ailing technical support activities and current issues.
2. Track problem escalation until resolution, escalating major issues to the expert support team as needed.
3. Regularly check and analyze the data configurations and operational status of network equipment, and develop detailed reports on findings.
4. Track and analyze fault histories in the long-term resolution of intermittent problems.
5. Implementation and configuration of new cloud equipment.
6. Handles and follow up on cases opened with equipment suppliers.
7. Receive inquiries from different teams regarding current or planned projects and take appropriate
action to resolve problems, On-call in case of emergency.
8. Execute prompt emergency repairs of equipment and infrastructure to ensure maximum availability
ty of the core network.
9. Proactively contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
10.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting findings to the management.
11. Participate in emergencies and provide 24/7 duty support.
12.Maintain and manage the configuration information of the network.
13. Serve as the single point of contact for equipment in the network.
14. Provide technical answers and maintenance knowledge associated with equipment to the
customer
15. Participate in scheduled operational and maintenance meetings to offer expert guidance and advice.

3. Interconnection & Fixed Networks: Demonstrate broad knowledge in setting up and maintaining
various fixed network components and interconnections including SVC, NGN, SBC, MGW, MSAN,
and DSLAM.
4. Knowledge of SIP service, M3UA, and DRA protocols: Demonstrate in-depth understanding and
application of SIP services and both M3UA and DRA protocols for efficient network operations.
5. Roaming Gateway configuration: Capable of configuring and managing roaming gateways to
maintain efficient and effective network roaming capabilities.
6. Knowledge of M3UA and DRA protocols: Proficient in handling and applying M3UA and DRA
protocols to ensure seamless network operations.
7. Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and
solutions.
Qualifications required:
Education:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, telecommunication, mechatronics, or related field.
Experience:
▪ 3 – 5 years of experience in CS Core Network or relevant fields.
Languages:
▪ Fluent in English and Arabic (Written& Spoken)
