Job Title: Payments Manager

Main Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to manage all company payment activities to ensure timely and accurate payments, maintain compliance with company policies, and mitigate risks. Drive continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s financial stability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation and execution of payments, including vendor invoices, employee salaries, and taxes.
2. Verify that all payment processes are precise and adhere to both internal policies and external regulatoryrequirements.
3. Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for financial obligations.
4. Investigate and resolve payment-related disputes efficiently and professionally.
5. Develop and improve policies and procedures to enhance operational accuracy and efficiency.
6. Implement and maintain risk management programs to mitigate payment-related risks.
7. Propose and implement enhancements to streamline payment processes and reduce costs.
8. Manage and update the supplier database, including addresses, bank accounts, and contact personnel.
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and banks.
10. Lead, guide, and support the payment processing team by assigning roles and responsibilities.
11. Provide training to team members to enhance their skills and ensure high performance.
12. Oversee routine department activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
13. Develop and implement strategies to optimize payment processes and improve efficiency.
14. Prepare and present regular payment reports to management, highlighting performance and issues.
15. Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives.

systems like Oracle ERP System.
2. Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, monitor cash flow, and prepare financial reports
using Microsoft Excel and analysis tools.
3. Cash Flow Management: Ability to monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for
financial obligations.
4. Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management principles and practices to mitigate payment-related risks.
5. Policy Development: Ability to develop, improve, and enforce policies and procedures to enhance
operational efficiency.
6. Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to read, understand, and interpret the principles, rules, terms, and
conditions of payment.

Job Requirements 

(Education, Training or certificates, Experience, Language):
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is
required.
Experience:
o 6-8 Years in payment processing, at least three years at a managerial or supervisory level.
o Oracle ERP Experience.
Languages: Fluent in English/Arabic (Written& Spoken).
