🌍 About IMC’s Mission in Sudan
IMC has been on the ground in Sudan since 2004, responding to the Darfur crisis and evolving humanitarian needs. In 2023 alone, over 1.6 million people received critical health, nutrition, and mental health support, despite severe access constraints due to ongoing conflict.
Operating in eight states, IMC manages 67 health facilities, 59 nutrition centers, and spearheads the national mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) response.
📦 Job Overview: What You’ll Do
As a Roving Logistics Manager, you will ensure the timely acquisition, delivery, and tracking of all logistics and supply chain operations in support of field missions. You’ll play a key role in:

Coordinating procurement, warehousing, fleet, and transport management.

Supporting emergency operations and continuous response plans.

Leading logistics assessments, compliance, audits, and reporting.

Training and building local staff capacity.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Ensure efficient logistics support across field sites, including procurement, inventory, and asset management.

Collaborate with program and finance teams to maintain smooth operations.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and implement compliance strategies.

Supervise and mentor logistics personnel at multiple field locations.

Represent IMC in coordination clusters, government forums, and with suppliers.

Monitor vendor performance, fuel usage, fleet safety, and warehouse conditions.

Ensure full compliance with IMC policies and donor regulations.
📋 Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

7+ years of experience in humanitarian or emergency logistics.

Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel for reporting and logistics tools.

Willingness to travel extensively within Sudan.

Knowledge of USAID or other donor compliance requirements is advantageous.
