Job Title: Sr. Technician. BBS FLIP
Sector: Commercial

Reporting to: Manager. Installation & support



 Main Job Purpose

– To install, maintain and test copper/fiber telecommunication services across established and new
networks. Ensuring that all work is completed in a safe environment within a timely and professional
manner and adhering to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction requirements set out by
our clients.
– Works both inside and outside and take care of the installation troubleshooting and other technical aspects.
Should have proper knowledge of various electronic components and computer operating systems. Look
into routers and other networking equipment. Responsible to provide efficient and quality customer
service.


 Duties & Responsibilities


– Install, diagnose, and maintain telecommunications services including associated components such as
Voice (POTS / VOIP), Data (xDSL/FTTX/FWA).
– Connect wires and cables to terminals and attaches/detaches various kinds of hardware to wires, cables,
and buildings.
– Resolve, repair and install CPEs and ensure that they work properly.
– Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections to make sure that faulty fiber optic system does
not destabilize its performance
– Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground, underwater, and overhead cabling
requirements
– Keep track of the signal strength of different devices such as routers, switch to provide adequate
performance.
– Formulate and maintain system records and system designs
– Plan and manage customers retention with product management from each Exchange/OSP by ensuring
stable services is provided and churned customers are re-activated.
– To arrange and coordinate marketing activities with product management team to promote the fixed
services on Exchange/OSP level
– Manage customer retention and FLIP services promotional activities on Exchange/OSP level.

 Job Requirements


 Education
– Diploma/Bachelor of Telecom engineering, computer science or any related field
– Fiber complete course certificate is considered
Experience:
– Working experience in relevant field with strong background is an advantage/plus
– Background in fiber/copper CPEs concept is plus.

Languages:
– Arabic/ English

  • يعمل من الداخل والخارج ويهتم باستكشاف أخطاء التركيب والجوانب الفنية الأخرى. يجب أن يكون لديه معرفة مناسبة بمختلف المكونات الإلكترونية وأنظمة تشغيل الكمبيوتر. ينظر في أجهزة التوجيه ومعدات الشبكات الأخرى. مسؤول عن تقديم عملاء يتسمون بالكفاءة والجودة.

  الواجبات والمسؤوليات

  • - تثبيت خدمات الاتصالات وتشخيصها وصيانتها بما في ذلك المكونات المرتبطة بها مثل الصوت (الأواني / VOIP) ، البيانات (xDSL / FTTX / FWA).
  • - قم بتوصيل الأسلاك والكابلات بالمطاريف وإرفاق / فصل أنواع مختلفة من الأجهزة بالأسلاك والكابلات ، والمباني.
  • - حل وإصلاح وتثبيت أجهزة CPE والتأكد من أنها تعمل بشكل صحيح.
  • - تطوير مؤشرات الاستشعار وإجراء عمليات التفتيش في الوقت المناسب للتأكد من أن نظام الألياف الضوئية المعيب يعمل لا تزعزع استقرار أدائها
  • - تنفيذ كابلات المباني والعناية بالكابلات الأرضية وتحت الماء والعلويةمتطلبات
  • - تتبع قوة إشارة الأجهزة المختلفة مثل أجهزة التوجيه ، والتبديل لتوفير ما يكفيأداء.
  • - صياغة وصيانة سجلات النظام وتصميمات النظام
  • - تخطيط وإدارة الاحتفاظ بالعملاء مع إدارة المنتج من كل Exchange / OSP من خلال ضمان
  • يتم توفير خدمات مستقرة وإعادة تنشيط العملاء المتخبطين.
  • - لترتيب وتنسيق الأنشطة التسويقية مع فريق إدارة المنتج للترويج للثابت
  • خدمات على مستوى الصرف / OSP
  • - إدارة الاحتفاظ بالعملاء والأنشطة الترويجية لخدمات FLIP على مستوى Exchange / OSP

  متطلبات العمل

  تعليم

- دبلوم / بكالوريوس هندسة الاتصالات أو علوم الحاسب أو أي مجال ذي صلة
- تعتبر شهادة دورة كاملة من الألياف

خبرة:

- خبرة العمل في مجال ذي صلة مع خلفية قوية ميزة / زائد
- الخلفية في مفهوم الألياف / النحاس CPEs زائد.
