Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient execution and optimal performance of the
national fiber network by adhering to technical standards and supervising technical teams. This role
significantly contributes to the organization’s mission by maintaining network reliability, enhancing
operational efficiency, and aligning operations with financial regulations and established procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of the national
fiber network.
2. Create and manage detailed work schedules for rehabilitation projects, ensuring timely and efficient
completion.
3. Oversee and approve contractor work, ensuring compliance with standard specifications and signing
necessary technical certificates.
4. Determine and specify the materials, devices, and tools required for workshops, ensuring all needs
are met.
5. Conduct training and development initiatives to enhance the technical skills of field workers.
6. Maintain accurate records by documenting all technical work using specialized devices and
equipment.
7. Investigate the causes of faults and develop effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
8. Operate in a field environment (approximately 75% of the role), demonstrating commitment,
dedication, and adaptability.

3. Technical Documentation and Data Management:
Skill in documenting technical work and
managing data accurately.
4. Specialized Measuring Devices:
Proficiency in using optical fiber measuring devices such as OTDR
and splice machines.
5. Transmission Network Devices:
Understanding of national transmission network devices, including
WDM and OSN.
6. Service Knowledge:
Familiarity with services provided to other operators across the national fiber
network.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
o 1-3 years of experience in the field.
o Oracle ERP Experience.
Language Fluent in English/Arabic (Written& Spoken).
