Main Job Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the high efficiency and optimal performance of the nationalfiber network by adhering to technical standards and leading technical teams. This role is crucial for maintaining network reliability and aligning operations with financial regulations and established operation procedures, directly impacting the organization’s service quality and operational excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and oversee the fiber team to maintain and optimize the national fiber network.
2. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the national fiber network.
3. Coordinate with NEC to ensure prompt recovery for fiber incidents.
4. Drive digital transformation by enforcing PM/CM activities in OWS/Mateline.
5. Create and manage detailed schedules for national fiber network rehabilitation projects, ensuring
timely completion.
6. Approve contractor work and sign technical certificates as per standard specifications.
7. Identify and specify the needs for materials, devices, and tools for workshops.
8. Enhance the technical skills of field workers through coaching and mentoring.
9. Document all technical work accurately using specialized devices and equipment.
10. Analyze fault causes and develop preventive solutions to avoid recurrence.
11. Commit to working in a field environment for approximately 75% of the role.

1. Fiber Optic Network Operations and Maintenance: Proficiency in managing and maintaining fiber
optic networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
2. Network Rehabilitation and Optimization: Expertise in restoring and enhancing network
infrastructure to improve efficiency and capacity.
3. Technical Documentation, Data, and Project Management: Skills in creating, maintaining, and
managing technical documents, data, and project schedules related to network operations.
4. Measuring Devices Operation: Full knowledge of operating and working with specialized measuring
devices in the field of optical fibers, including OTDR, Splice Machine, prop, multi-function loss tester,
and power meter.
5. National Transmission Network Devices Knowledge: Understanding of national transmission
networks devices such as WDM and OSN, and their operation.
6. Services Knowledge for Other Operators: Good knowledge of services provided to other operators
across the national fiber network.
Qualifications
Education A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
o 6 – 8 years in the fiber network.
o Oracle ERP Experience.
