Who Are We?
NRC is an International Non-Governmental Organization that operates in more than 30 countries. The main headquarter is in Oslo – Norway. NRC resumes its operation in Sudan on March 2020 and since then it has established different Area Offices in Gadarif, Fasher, Geneina, Kosti, and South Kordofan. NRC is mainly involved in different core competencies such as Education, Protection, Wash, Shelter, Livelihoods, and Food Security Camp Management. The current Country Office is placed in Khartoum.Role Specific Information
- Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines, with strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding policies
- Assist with the implementation of the Education portfolio
- Prepare and develop status reports and other documents as required by management
- Ensure proper filing of documents
- Promote the rights of refugees, IDPs, returnees, and the host community in-line with SPERE and INEE Minimum Standards
- Provide daily support to education incentive staff and teachers, and supervise daily workers in line with program objectives and NRC quality standards
- Ensure direct communication and feedback with beneficiaries and stakeholders at the field level, with a focus on community leaders, headmasters/principals, teachers, and students
- Lead in mobilization and sensitization of community members
- Assist with capacity-building activities for beneficiaries, with a focus on teachers
- Organize, support, and participate in Mother’s Groups, PTAs, School Improvement Plans, and School-Based Management Committees
- Regularly travel to the field to support education/PSS interventions and classroom/WASH construction activities; monitor and ensure regular needs for supplies are met
- Organize and implement distributions of teaching and learning supplies and materials; maintain records of commodity movements and secure appropriate supporting documents
- Ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting of project outputs/outcomes at the field level per the M&E plan and donor requirements
- Ensure complaints and feedback response mechanism is in place at the field level
- Ensure schools and learning spaces are safe for children and report all protection concerns immediately
- Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line and/or technical manager
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a humanitarian/recovery context preferred
- Experience working in complex and volatile contexts preferred
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel required
- Ability to work diligently both independently and in a team, setting required
- Willingness to travel regularly to the field in under-resourced settings required
- Fluency in Arabic, both written and verbal required; some English language skills preferred
- Knowledge of the EiE context in Sudan is preferred
- Knowledge of the circumstances needs and challenges displacement and conflict-affected refugees, host community, returnee, and IDP children face preferred
- Experience with EiE and formal basic education in a humanitarian context preferred
- Experience working with children and/or educators preferred
- Experience liaising with and mobilizing local and community stakeholders preferred
- Field-level experience with an NGO is an asset
- Understanding of SPHERE and INEE Minimum Standards an asset

المعلومات الخاصة بالدور
- الالتزام بسياسات NRC والأدوات والكتيبات والمبادئ التوجيهية ، مع الالتزام الصارم بمدونة قواعد السلوك وسياسات حماية الطفل
- المساعدة في تنفيذ حقيبة التعليم
- إعداد وتطوير تقارير الحالة والوثائق الأخرى كما هو مطلوب من قبل الإدارة
- تأكد من حفظ المستندات بشكل صحيح
- تعزيز حقوق اللاجئين والنازحين والعائدين والمجتمع المضيف بما يتماشى مع الحد الأدنى من معايير SPERE و INEE
- تقديم الدعم اليومي لموظفي الحوافز التعليمية والمعلمين ، والإشراف على العمال المياومين بما يتماشى مع أهداف البرنامج ومعايير الجودة NRC
- ضمان التواصل المباشر وردود الفعل مع المستفيدين وأصحاب المصلحة على المستوى الميداني ، مع التركيز على قادة المجتمع والمدراء / المديرين والمعلمين والطلاب
- قيادة تعبئة وتوعية أفراد المجتمع
- المساعدة في أنشطة بناء القدرات للمستفيدين ، مع التركيز على المعلمين
- تنظيم ودعم والمشاركة في مجموعات الأمهات و PTAs وخطط تحسين المدرسة ولجان الإدارة القائمة على المدرسة
- السفر بانتظام إلى الميدان لدعم التدخلات التعليمية / PSS وأنشطة بناء الفصول الدراسية / المياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة الصحية ؛ المراقبة والتأكد من تلبية الاحتياجات المنتظمة للإمدادات
- تنظيم وتنفيذ عمليات توزيع مستلزمات ومواد التعليم والتعلم ؛ الاحتفاظ بسجلات لتحركات السلع وتأمين المستندات الداعمة المناسبة
- ضمان المراقبة المستمرة والإبلاغ عن مخرجات / نتائج المشروع على المستوى الميداني وفقًا لخطة M&E ومتطلبات الجهات المانحة
- ضمان وجود آلية للاستجابة للشكاوى وردود الفعل على المستوى الميداني
- تأكد من أن المدارس وأماكن التعلم آمنة للأطفال وأبلغ عن جميع مخاوف الحماية على الفور

- الخبرة الميدانية مع منظمة غير حكومية هي ميزة
